Math - Welcome back after Easter. We corrected homework from the holidays in class this morning and the students are to question 1 in the "Problem Bank" on page 30 of the textbook and then create a problem like the one on page 30 for the class to solve tomorrow. Clear explanation and solution of the problem needs to be included. (neat)
Writing and lots more of it!
Welcome back! We'll be working intently on writng skills and practicing writing in anticipation of the first of the Lang. Achievement Tests, Part A, coming up on May 17th. Today's homework is to finish the 'file folder writing activities' on 'Precise Nouns', "Strong Verbs' and the 'Proofreading' pages for tomorrow, Tuesday 25th.

Greek Psychological needs exam and world in News
There will be a Psychological needs exam on Wednesday, April 26th. The students already have a review sheet. As well, the world in news will be due Thursday, April 27th.

Math - Please complete the booklet p38-44 for Monday April 24th. Due to school stations of the cross and other celebrations and good byes. We may have a shortened or even lose our math class tomorrow afternoon.
Please make sure all things go home tomorrow as school will be closed for the Easter break starting Friday. Make sure to take home lunches and have a look through lost and found for things that belong to you.

Math 6 - Sorry no posts for the last few days. Students will have their retest of their unit on measurement back to them tomorrow. On this one the students were given a second chance for one period to make changes to their test to improve their mark.
The grocery store price comparison activity will be returned to the students tomorrow. I'm most impressed with the efforts put forth by the students. I hope you take a chance to go over the work with your kids.
For tomorrow's class please have the "On Your Own" 1-3 and Practise Your Skills 1-2 on page 18 completed for class.

Greek Myth and Play
The Greek myth and play will be due on Monday, April 10th. The play will be performed in class and the myth handed in.

Math 6 - Students handed in their advertising assignment today. Students are to look over page 13 in their text books and write in their journals about how growth patterns might be related to our study of population growth in Coaldale due tomorrow. Reminder corrections are also due tomorrow!
