Bring the Family!

Just a quick post to inform you of an important upcoming event:

1) Many of you may not have received the yellow note inviting you to have supper with us at St. Joe's tomorrow evening, Wednesday the 12th for our St Joseph Family - Meet and Greet from 6 -8 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and meet the Staff and All of our St. Joseph School Family. We will provide corn-on-the-cob, barbecued burgers, potato chips and a beverage. All for no charge! After you've eaten, you'll have the opportunity to meet your chidren's teachers in the Gathering Space:
Division 1 (K-3) 6:30 p.m
Division 2 (4-6) 6:45 p.m.
Division 3 (7-9) 7:00 p.m.

*Each student is encouraged to bring a picture of himself/herself or their family enjoying their favourite summer day so we can fill a bulletin board of seet summer memories of our St. Joseph School Family!
Please print their first and last names, plus their homerooms on the back of the pictures, and bring them to the office first thing on Wednesday morning.

Welcome to Grade Six!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL AND YOUR NEW BLOG, that you can check regularly to keep posted on daily homework assignments, projects and other information about upcoming special events, days in our classroom or whole school.

WHY TR-SIX? Well, TR-SIX, that's you, the Grade Six class, and the name of the blog was chosen from the name of a sleek and stylish British sportscar, but also just happens to be your homeroom teacher's initials, TR! If you are interested in finding out more about these cool little British sportscars, try doing a Google-search of images to see pix of TR-Six cars over the years.

All of your core subject teachers, Mr. Roth, Mrs. Baron, and Mr. Saler, as well as Mrs. Fujita, Mrs. Brodie, and Mr. Chmielewski will post messages regularly to your blog. We hope you and your parents visit the blog often!
